First, download the installation package file from:
http://www.icopybot.com/download.htm
After downloaded, if you launch the package file directly, Mountain Lion will pop up a window and tell you “iCopyBot_for_Mac.pkg(/iBackupBot_for_Mac.pkg) can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer” and you can’t install iCopyBot or iBackupBot.
How to install iCopyBot and iBackupBot on Mountain Lion?
Answer:
After downloaded the package file, hold “control” button and click (or just right-click) the package file, then select “Open” from pop up menu, Mountain Lion will prompt you “iCopyBot_for_Mac.pkg (/iBackupBot_for_Mac.pkg) is from an unidentified developer. Are you sure you want to open it?”, just click “Open” button to install it.

The very popular game in 2009 – Plants vs. Zombies now arriving iPhone!
Here is the steps to modify money of Plants vs. Zombies of iPhone:
- 1. You need download and install iBackupBot for iTunes.
- 2. Connect your iPhone to computer and run iTunes, make a backup of your iPhone by right-clicking your iPhone’s entry in the devices list and selecting Back Up. Once complete, quit iTunes and launch iBackupBot.
- 3. Once iBackupBot launches and detects your iPhone backups, you’ll see them listed on the left panel. Expand the most recent one and select PvZ, you will find a file named Documents/userdata/user1.dat in right window of iBackupBot:

- 4. Double click Documents/userdata/user1.dat, the program will show a Hex Editor window, go to position 8 and enter 10 27:

- 5. Press CTRL+S to save changes, then close Hex Editor. Then press CTRL+T, select Restore only modified file(s) and press OK button. Wait few minutes until the restore completes. Your iPhone should restart and the changes should have taken effect:

iTunes Backup Manager is a program that can help you browse and modify iTunes backup files for iPhone and iPod Touch and no jailbreak required! We can also use it to cheat game data.
Here are steps to cheat Need for Speed Shift for get $8000000 in the game:
- 1. Play the game for a while then exit, to make it create game data file.
- 2. Run iTunes, connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to computer, right click your iPhone or iPod Touch name in left side window of iTunes and select Back Up in pop up menu.
- 3. Run iTunes Backup Manager, expand your iPhone or iPod Touch name in left side window, click NFS Shift, then double click Documents/gamedata in right side window:

- 4. The program will pop up a Hex Editor, press CTRL+G, enter 52 in pop up Goto Offset window, press OK button, then enter 7A 12 and press
button on the toolbar, then exit Hex Editor:

- 5. Click
button on the toolbar, select Restore only modified file(s) in pop up window and press OK button, wait for the restore process done, your iPhone or iPod Touch will restart automatically:
- 6. Now you can enjoy the game:)

As we know, we can only delete SMS message one by one on iPhone, but sometime we may want delete hundred of messages, is there a way that can delete multiple messages or all messages easily?
If your iPhone is jailbroken, you can find out some third party APP can do this, but many people’s iPhone is not jailbroken, how to bulk delete SMS messages without jailbreaking?
The answer is: iTunes Backup Manager
Just 3 steps to batch delete SMS messages:
- 1. Run iTunes, connect your iPhone to computer, right click your iPhone name in left window of iTunes and select Back Up from pop up menu.
(This step is for transfer newest messages and other information from iPhone to computer).
- 2. Run iTunes Backup Manager, select your iPhone name in left window then select main menu->Plugin->Messages, the program will pop up a SMS Viewer window, it will show all SMS messages in a tree view, if you want delete all messages, just select the root of the tree message tree, otherwise, you can hold CTRL or SHIFT key to select multiple messages, then click
button on the toolbar to delete selected messages.
- 3. Exit SMS Viewer window, select main menu->File->Restore, select Only restore modified file(s) in pop up window and press OK button, to make the program transfer modified SMS message database to iPhone. After the restore process done, your iPhone may restart automatically.

With iTunes Backup Manager v1.6 or later, you can edit (create, modify, delete) notes on computer then transfer back to your iPhone or iPod Touch, it’s more easily and powerful than edit notes on iPhone or iPod Touch, the steps:
- Step 1: First, run iTunes, connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to computer, right click iPhone or iPod Touch name in left window and select Back Up in pop up menu, to transfer new contents from your iPhone or iPod Touch to computer:

- Step 2: Run iTunes Backup Manager, click your iPhone or iPod Touch name in left window, then select main menu->Plugin->Notes, now you can create, modify or delete notes with pop up Notes Editor:

The most powerful thing is you can use HTML code in note’s body, like this:

- Step 3: After edit done, you can select main menu->File->Restore, then select Only restore modified file(s) and press OK button, the program will transfer notes back to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

As we know, if we want share game data file with friends, we must “jailbreak” our iPhone / iPod Touch first.
But now, with iTunes Backup Manager, we can share game data file very easily, even iPhone / iPod Touch not jailbroken.
Now I use Defender Chronicles – Legend Of Desert King as example, show how to share game data file with just few steps:
- 1.Run iTunes, connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to computer, right click your iPhone or iPod Touch name in left window and select Back Up:

- 2.Run iTunes Backup Manager, expand your iPhone or iPod Touch name in left window, click D. Chronicles, click the check box before Library/Preferences/com.chillingo.defenderchronicles.plist in right window, then select main menu->File->Export, select Only export checked file(s) and press OK button, select a target folder to store the exported files:

- 3.You will find two files in target folder:

Now you can send these two files to your friends by network or movable disk.
- 4.Your friend run iTunes Backup Manager, select main menu->File->Import and select file Library_Preferences_com.chillingo.defenderchronicles.plist.info, then select main menu->File->Restore, select Only restore modified file(s) and press OK button, when restore process done, iPhone / iPod Touch may restart automatically:
- Done!
Here is my game data file, you can download it, unzip to a folder on your computer, then follow step 4 to import it and restore to your iPhone or iPod Touch:

If you want transfer contacts from one iPhone to another iPhone, you can do it with iTunes Backup Manager‘s export/import feature.
Here is the steps: (If you lost your iPhone, you can also use these steps to restore contacts from old iPhone’s backup file.)
First we named the iPhone that you want transfer contacts from as source iPhone, another iPhone as target iPhone.
