As we know, iPad can only play limited format of video files, include QuickTime .mov file, MP4 file in h264 codec or MPEG4 codec file. Many other format of videos, include .AVI file, .MPG file, .RMVB file, .WMV file, .ASF file, and .FLV file that download from video sharing website like YouTube.
Even a video file already in .mov or .mp4 format, not means it can play with iPad: if the file’s properties like size or bitrate not fit iPad’s limit, when you syncing it to iPad through iTunes, you will get an error message like this: “blablabla” was not copied to the iPad “your iPad name” because it cannot be played on this iPad, or just cannot import it to iTunes library.
You must convert these video files to the format that fit iPad’s limit before you copy them from computer to your iPad via iTunes.
Below are the steps to convert video for iPad:
1. Download and install an iPad Video Converter named iVideoBot Pro from this iPod & iPad software download page.
2. Launch iVideoBot Pro, add the video files that you wanna to convert to iVideoBot Pro by click
button or just drag and drop from Windows Explorer.
3. If you want to join all video files into one big file in iPad video format, you can click

4. Change output settings in right pane of iVideoBot Pro, suggested options: target device select iPad, profile select Normal Quality, video size select 720×576.

button to start the converting process, after the converting process done, you can add the converted video files to iTunes library by drag and drop from Windows Explorer to iTunes or select iTunes’s main menu->File->Add File to Library, then connect your iPad to computer and sync videos to your iPad by iTunes.
